Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Ensure the quality and freshness of the fresh products (fruits, vegetables, etc.) across all inventory touchpoints.
- Conduct regular quality inspections at inbound, storage, and outbound stages to maintain high product standards.
- Monitor stock levels, turnover rates, and shelf life to minimize waste and prevent stockouts.
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize fresh product availability.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure product consistency, timely deliveries, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with merchandising and warehouse teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
- Implement best practices for handling, storing, and rotating fresh inventory to reduce spoilage.
- Track key performance metrics (e.g., spoilage rate, inventory turnover) and provide insights for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cold chain management best practices.
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management, quality control, or fresh product handling in retail, supermarket, or e-grocery industries.
- Strong understanding of fresh product quality standards, shelf-life management, and handling best practices.
- Experience in working with suppliers and negotiating procurement terms.
- Analytical mindset with experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems or ERP tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
- Hands-on approach to visiting warehouses and supplier locations as needed.
