About The Role
As the Head of Supply Chain Operations at Tentang Anak, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain operations. Your key focus will be on supply and demand planning, managing third-party warehouse and transportations operations, and fostering relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the FMCG industry and a proven track record in logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including supply chain planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply and demand planning strategies to ensure product availability and minimize stock outs or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with third-party warehouses and logistics vendors to ensure efficient storage, handling, and transportation of products.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with logistics service providers to optimize cost-effectiveness while ensuring high service levels.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement operational efficiencies.
- Manage and forecast inventory needs in alignment with business demand, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless coordination between logistics and other business areas.
- Develop risk management strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a focus on FMCG industries.
